Question 1. How did the two baby birds get separated ?
Answer: The two baby birds were living in a tall tree with their mother in a forest. One day a very big storm blew in the forest. Due to this strong thunderstorm The tree came down (fall down). The mother bird was killed due to this tree falling. The strong wind blew the two chicks (baby birds) away to the other side of the forest at a little distance from each other. One bird fall down near a robber’s cave and other bird fall down near a Rishi’s ashram Thus, they got separated from each other. How these two baby birds get separated from each other.

Question 2. Where did each of them find a home ?

Answer : Due to thunderstorm the tree of two baby birds and their mother fall down and their mother killed , the strong wind / storm blew the both baby birds. One of the baby birds came down near a cave. A gang of robbers lived there in that cave. The other bird landed near the ashram of a rishi at a little distance. In short we can say one baby bird find a home in robbers cave and another child bird find a home in rishi’s ashram.

Question 3. What did the first bird say to the stranger ?

Answer: The first bird which was living with robbers in their cave saw the stranger that is the King. baby bird called the robbers with whom that was living ,  to hurry up and rob the man / the king of his jewels and his horse. Indirectly we can say the child bird asked the stranger /king to leave the place at once.

It means the bird nothing said to king anything directly but the bird was saying to robbers to rob the king and indirectly saying to king for leaving that place because that place is home of robbers.

Answer: The second bird which was living with rishi in his ashram welcomed the king to the ashram. The bird requested the stranger (The king) to drink water, take rest and make himself comfortable in the rishi’s ashram. The second bird added that his brother lived in the company of robbers which voice was heard by king by saying robe the stranger, and due to bad company of his bird he talked like them or negatively.

Question 5. How did the rishi explain the different ways in which the birds behaved ?

Answer : The king told to the rishi about whole story and the different behavior of the two birds. The first bird which was heard by king near robbers cave by saying rob the king , another same looking bird which was seen outside the rishi’s ashram which is polite and good behavior.

The rishi explained why both bird have different behavior even they are brothers.

The rishi explained that the first bird repeated the words of the robbers and asking for rob the king , his jewels and horse. The second bird repeated what he had always heard at the ashram and that is why he welcomed the king to rishi’s ashram and behave very politely . Their different ways were the results of their company.

The first bird has bad company of robbers that is why he talked like robbers and second bird has good company of rishi that is why he talked very politely like rishi. so their different behavior is result of surrounding company of both the birds.
