Answer : From all above options the correct answer is “(4) Aspartame”
Explanation of answer : Insecticides are those chemical substances which are used to kill insects or we can say that used to control the insects. now take a look to all four options that which chemicals are not used to kill insects .
DDT full form is Dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane and this chemical substance is used to kill or control insects in agriculture and well known insecticide in people.
BHC full form is benzene hexachloride and this is also known as Lindane , BHC is a isomer of Lindane . it’s chemical formula is C6H6Cl6. and BHC is used in agriculture and also in pharmaceutical treatment for lice and scabies , so we can say that BHC is also a type of insecticide .
Carbaryl which is available by the name of Sevin , sevin or carbaryl is white crystalline solid which is used as insecticide.
Aspartame is an artificial sweetener which is used to get sweetness in food , this is non-saccharide sweetener which contains 200 times sweeter than sucrose.
conclusion : DDT , BHC and Carbaryl (Sevin) are type of insecticide but Aspartame is a artificial sweetener , it means Aspartame is not a insecticide that is why our answer is (4) Aspartame as per our question requirement.
