Answer : as we know that NITI aayog was formed on 1 January 2015 and it’s Headquarter is located at New Delhi.

Purpose of NITI AAYOG :
1. It involve the participation to Develop a common vision for priorities , sectors and strategies related to national development with the active participation of the states keeping in view the national objectives. The Vision of NITI Aayog is to prepare and submit a draft ‘National Agenda’ to the Prime Minister of India and Chief Ministers of all states of India.

2. NITI AAYOG also participate To foster cooperative federalism through structured support initiatives and mechanisms with the states on an continuous basis.

3. To develop mechanism to formulate credible plans at the village level or we can say root level to develop country on basic level .

4. It also works To ensure on area that are specifically referred to it , that the interests of national security are incorporated in the economic strategy and policies of India.

5. It keep eyes To pay special attention to the sections of the society that may be at risk of not benefiting adequately from economic progress.

6. Because the mains objective of NITI aayog to formulate the new policies so Long term development policies will be formulated. Medium term amend ments and continuous review of these policies and will also be done so that maximum output will be gain from these development policies.
