explanation of correct answer :

If we consider boy as B and girl as G

what outcomes are possible = BBB,GGG,BBG,BGB,GBB,GGB,GBG,BGG

Total number of outcomes = 8

keep in mind BBB , all three children are boys , GGG means all three children are girls , BBG means two boys and one girl and so on….

as we know the formula of Probability = favorable outcomes/total outcomes

Probability of  girl is

note : no girls means all boys Probability

Probability of  girl is
note : in three conditions girl possible which are = BBG,BGB,GBB
Probability of  girls is

note : in three conditions girls are possible which are = GGB,GBG,BGG

Probability of  girls is

note : three girls condition is 1 that is GGG.

Hence the probability of each is not 1/4 that is why we have marked this statement as incorrect statement or not correct statement.
