Article 25 provides freedom of conscience, profession , practice and propagation of Their own religion. Article 26 provides freedom to manage religious affairs. Article 27 provides that freedom from taxation for promotion of religion (The state shall not levy any tax for the development of any religion.) Article 28 provides freedom from attending religious instruction given by their own religion .

Apart from these Under Article 15 and 16 prohibition of discrimination on the basis of religion and provides opportunities to each person of every religion.

On the basis of above discussion , we can say that the above systems make India a secular state because here discrimination on the basis of religion has been prohibited and arrangements have been made for religious freedom and to treat people of all religions equally. The India state (country) has no national religion. Although Indian secularism is different from western secularism because India is a multi-religious-multicultural country, so secularism here does not mean separation of religion and politics even our country constitution treat equally , but Sarva Dharma Sambhav’, that is, the state gives religious identity and equal protection to all religion.
