अधिशोषण तथा अवशोषण में अंतर क्या है परिभाषा adsorption & absorption
adsorption (अधिशोषण ) & absorption (अवशोषण ) definition and difference in hindi में अंतर क्या है परिभाषा
पृष्ठ रसायन परिभाषा : रसायन विज्ञान की वह शाखा जिसके अंतर्गत ठोस या द्रव की सतह पर होने वाले परिवर्तन तथा क्रियाविधि का अध्ययन किया जाता है उसे पृष्ठ रसायन कहते है।
अधिशोषण (adsorption) : इसे निम्न प्रयोग द्वारा समझाया जा सकता है , जल वाष्प से भरे पात्र में सिलिका जैल लटकाने पर उसकी सतह पर जल वाष्प संचित हो जाती है इसे अधिशोषण कहते है।
अतः ठोस या द्रव की सतह पर दूसरे पदार्थ का संचित होना अधिशोषण कहलाता है।
नोट : वह पदार्थ जो ठोस या द्रव की सतह पर संचित होता है उसे अधिशोष्य कहते है तथा जिस पदार्थ पर अधिशोषण की घटना होती है उसे अधिशोषक कहते है।
अवशोषण (absorption ):
जब अधिशोष्य ,अधिशोषक में समान रूप से वितरित हो जाता है तो उसे अवशोषण कहते है।
उदाहरण :
- स्पंज के टुकड़े को जल के संपर्क में रखने पर
- कागज़ के टुकड़े को जल के सम्पर्क में रखने पर
- NH3गैस को जल के संपर्क में रखने पर
NH3 + H2O = NH4OH
- निर्जल CaCl2 को जल वाष्प के सम्पर्क में रखने पर।

अधिशोषण तथा अवशोषण में अंतर :

| 1. यह सतह घटना है अर्थात अधिशोषक की सतह पर घटित होती है। | यह स्थूल घटना है अर्थात यह अधिशोषक के सम्पूर्ण भाग में घटित होती है। |
| 2. अधिशोष्य की सांद्रता सतह पर अधिक होती है। | अधिशोष्य की सांद्रता सभी जगह एक समान रहती है। |
